Violetta is the Executive Director. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Education degrees from University of Calgary, and a Master of Education degree from University of British Columbia.
Violetta stands as a paragon of musical education, her career as a music teacher enriched by over 17 years of dedicated experience. With a focus on piano and music theory, her expertise and commitment have profoundly influenced her students, marking a significant impact on their musical journeys. As a teacher certified by the Royal Conservatory of Music, Violetta brings a comprehensive depth of knowledge and a pursuit of excellence to her educational approach. Her academic achievements, including degrees in Psychology, Education, and a Master’s in Education, highlight her holistic view of music education, emphasizing the importance of compassion and intrinsic motivation in her teaching, thereby elevating the learning experience beyond the mere mechanics of musical performance.
Beyond the classroom, Violetta’s engagement with the Calgary Performing Arts Festival showcases her commitment to fostering emerging talents. She meticulously prepares her students for performances in piano and musical theatre, not just enhancing their musical skills but also building their self-assurance and presence, attributes that extend beyond the stage. Violetta’s passion for making music universally accessible is evident in her inclusive approach to musical genres, introducing her students to a diverse mix of musical styles, from contemporary pop hits to classical masterpieces and the improvisational allure of jazz. This broad exposure not only enriches their musical education but also expands their cultural perspectives, under Violetta’s nurturing and encouraging guidance, her students flourish, achieving excellence in various performances and embodying the joy and depth of music, guided by her warm, patient, and dedicated teaching philosophy.

Amilia, holds a degree in Bachelor of Arts with Honors and is currently completing her Master of Arts degree from the University of Alberta.
Amilia’s journey as a violinist is marked by her rigorous training and remarkable achievements, having spent 13 years honing her skills at the Mount Royal Conservatory in Calgary, Alberta. Her talent as a soloist is evidenced by an array of accolades, such as the 2017 Gold Medal in Alberta for Royal Conservatory of Music Level 8, a scholarship from the Alberta Registered Music Teachers’ Association in the same year, and an Honourable Mention at the American Protégé competition in New York City. Her performances have not only graced local stages, such as the Calgary Performing Arts Festival, but have also led her to the prestigious Carnegie Hall in Manhattan. Furthermore, Amilia’s involvement with the Calgary Youth Orchestra has afforded her the opportunity to showcase her talent on international platforms, including performances in Budapest, Vienna, and Krakow.
In her role as a teacher, Amilia has proven to be both passionate and dedicated, guiding her students through personalized lesson plans and goals over her seven years of teaching experience. Her efforts have seen many of her students achieve success in Royal Conservatory of Music exams and contribute significantly as ensemble players in Mount Royal Conservatory orchestras. Amilia’s teaching repertoire spans classical violin, fiddling, and pop music, and she is open to exploring other musical genres that pique her students’ interests. For beginners, she employs the Suzuki method, complementing it with auditory exercises and sightreading to bolster their confidence and versatility, equipping them for a broad spectrum of musical endeavors.

Heather has also shared her musical talents through volunteer performances at the City of Calgary Library, university hospitals, shelters for the homeless, and nursing homes. As an educator, she approaches teaching with dedication and attention to detail, offering personalized curricula tailored to the individual needs of her students. Her students range in age from 4 to adult, and she is committed to guiding them to find joy in music while helping them experience its beauty.

Sharuhen is a highly skilled musician and dedicated educator with a passion for teaching and performing music. He holds a Grade 8 certification in Guitar from Trinity College of London, achieved with distinction, reflecting over a decade of disciplined musical training (2009–2020). Sharuhen has extensive experience teaching a variety of instruments, including electric, acoustic, classical, and bass guitars, as well as piano, drums, midi and many more. Sharuhen’s teaching expertise spans multiple genres, including classical, acoustic, contemporary, and Bollywood music. He has guided students through recognized methods such as Mel Bay’s Modern Guitar Method and Alfred’s Piano Method, preparing them for notable certifications like the Trinity Guildhall and RCM exams. His teaching career includes positions at esteemed institutions such as the Indian Music Academy in Edmonton, Key Mobile Music, and the Young Musician Institute in Abu Dhabi. Beyond teaching, Sharuhen is an experienced performer and music producer. He has organized and participated in diverse musical events, including Bollywood music concerts, worship performances, and collaborations with prominent artists like Pooja Prem, a Guinness World Record holder.
His technical expertise in music production tools, such as Ableton Live and Audacity, complements his ability to create original compositions like “Battle Sequence,” released under the NovaSteller label. Sharuhen’s commitment to fostering musical excellence is evident in his work as a music organizer for the University of Alberta’s engineering concerts, where he collaborated with performers to adapt scores across genres and instruments. His participation in major concerts, such as the Spring of Joy Orchestra in Abu Dhabi and the Beetz Indian Music Concert in Edmonton, showcases his versatility as both a performer and a leader in the music community. Sharuhen is deeply passionate about inspiring and nurturing the next generation of musicians, making him an invaluable contributor to the world of music education and performance.
